The Winter World Masters Games and the hockey arena 3 glaces have put up all the stops to welcome hockey players from around the world. Ambiance and emotion will meet to create an unforgettable experience!
Two competition levels are offered for men and women in addition to the more competitive men 30+ level. The participatory level is perfect for the athlete looking for a challenge as well as fun while more seasoned players will feel right at home in the competitive level. There’s something for everyone.

For each age group, men will be offered three levels of play and women two different levels of play.

Events offered:
Men: Open 30+

This category is offered for teams made up of a combination of players with high level of hockey experience such as junior hockey in canada, elite clubs in Europe  and NCAA division 1 players in the US combined with players that have played VERY high level such has NHL, National team or KHL. Teams must be prepared for a high level of play.

Men: 30–39, 40–49,50–59, and 60+

Two levels are available for each age group:

Competitive This grade is for players who compete in a high standard or domestic level hockey such as A grade in their local competition and players who have represented their club or town in state/province competition.

ParticipatoryThis grade is for those players who participate in non-competitive and/or lower grade leagues and for social and casual players.

Women: 30-39, 40–49, and 50+

Two levels are available for each age group:

Competitive This grade is for players who compete in a high standard or domestic level hockey such as A grade in their local competition and players who have represented their club or town in state/province competition.

Participatory : This grade is for those players who participate in non-competitive and/or lower grade leagues and for social and casual players.


Tournament format:

Each team is guaranteed three games plus the opportunity to advance to the playoffs for each age group.
A two-person officiating crew will be in place for all round robin tournament games; however, for all semi-finals and final games a three-person officiating system will be in place.

*The women’s tournament will consist of pool play. The first two games will be used as qualifiers for the playoffs which will lead to an A and B final. Every team will play a minimum of 3 games.

Note:
Due to the complexity of the tournament schedule, we require all men's teams to be available to play over the week-long event, from February 5 to February 8, and women's teams to be available January 31 to February 3.

Game format: 10 min (not timed), 15 min (not timed), 15 min (timed)

Team: You must have a minimum of 10 players plus a goalie and a maximum of 18 players and 2 goalies.
Your age is determined on January 1, 2015.

Registration: Your captain is responsible for registering your team and must provide the roster with the name and email of each player. The registration fee is $1,750.
